Gay Page, B.M., B.A., M.S.
President & Co-founder

Gay's interest in pedestrian and bicycle planning began over twenty years ago and includes working professionally in alternative transportation planning for the National Park Service and managing the Bicycle/Pedestrian Program at the Colorado Department of Transportation. Prior to her career in pedestrian and bicycle planning, Gay owned a consulting company that specialized in convention planning, managing local and regional nonprofit organizations, and developing corporate training programs.

Gay is responsible for expanding Bike to Work Day to Colorado Bike Month and spearheaded the Colorado State Legislature Resolution permanently establishing June as Colorado Bike Month and the fourth Wednesday as Bike to Work Day. She developed the concept of Colorado Pedestrian Month and is now working with the legislature to permanently designate October as Colorado Pedestrian Month.

She participates in numerous committees and advisory boards such as the National Review Group for the Federal Highway Administration's Pedestrian and Bicycle Information Center, and was a co-founder of Bicycle Colorado. She has facilitated many pedestrian design workshops in communities throughout Colorado, and looks forward to helping many more communities through Colorado Walks. Gay enjoys walking with her dog, Beamer, and luxury bicycling vacations.
